SILVER CAN VTA will now become SILVER CAN GT! SILVER-CAN GT is a marriage of our existing popular SILVER-CAN VTA and also the up and coming popular 'Porsche Cup', 'Tamiya Super GT' and Super Tub GT classes around the country/world. The new rule set will only allow plastic "tub" chassis “shaft-drive” cars such as the 4-Tec, Fazer, TC3, TT-01/02 Etc. Belt drive or "non-plastic" chassis will no longer be allowed this year. Combining both rule sets and opening the class to any chassis manufacturer is aimed to provide a low cost / affordable form of scale touring car racing. RCHR created the SILVER-CAN On-Road class to be affordable, fun, and highly competitive. We feel that by evolving the class this way, we can provide the best support for our racers by offering more choice in the shop. Also, the racing itself will become even more competitive than ever by keeping everyone on a more level playing field. Also this class puts us on par with other tracks in our area offering or planning to offer a similar class. We look forward to watching SILVER-CAN On-Road grow even larger this year! |
